Born in Cuba in Havana, Ivan is a Professor of salsa for 10 years. Ivan is a self-taught.
After having a lot of work in decomposing the dance ,he creates his own style which will permit him to be recognized.
Then he dances with the greatest like Africando, Orquesta Aragon, Adalberto Alvarez y su Son, Los Van Van, New York Salsa All Star, El Septeto Nacional de Cuba. He is the representative of the cuban culture and takes the Cuban son on the World Salsa Congress stage in 2002, 2003 and 2004. He participes at the Paris Mambo Festival and at the Cuban Cultural Festival in Guadeloupe as "special guest"
He is also invited in the most trendy salsa places of Paris (la Coupole, El Globo, Salsa Rumba Magazine, Salsafrance Festival, Battle Salsa) and in Province (festival of Bordeaux) and also in the Arts center of Enghien les bains by his director Dominique Rolland for the animation of the concert of Familia Valera Miranda.
Today, he is recognized as one of the greatest Cuban dancers on Paris, his reputation is due to his incredible style and his fusion of dances such as jazz, rock and roll, swing, tango and the flamenco besides the Afro Cuban dances (rumba, mambo, chachacha, son).
